Brand & Member Badge
Our logo, colours and the official membership mark — plus how AOPA member firms may display it.
These guidelines keep the Association of Practising Accountants UK looking consistent and trustworthy everywhere it appears. Please follow them whenever you use our logo, and — if your firm is a current AOPA member — when you display the Member of AOPA badge on your own website.
The AOPA logo
The pillared seal represents institutional trust; the red ledger reflects growth in practice. Use the primary seal where space is square, and the horizontal lock-up in headers and letterheads.

Keep clear space of at least the height of the seal's cap on all sides. Never render the seal below 32 px or the lock-up below 140 px wide.
Backgrounds
Use on white, ivory or navy. On dark backgrounds use the reversed mark. Avoid photographic or busy backgrounds that reduce legibility.
Colour palette
Navy and British red are the heart of the brand; gold is reserved for certificates and the seal.

The “Member of AOPA” badge
Current AOPA member firms may display this badge on their website, email signature and stationery to show they belong to the Association. Three approved versions are provided.
Add it to your website
Paste this into your site's footer. It links visitors back to AOPA so they can verify your membership.

Tip: swap the link for your own AOPA firm profile URL (aopauk.com/firms/your-firm) so visitors land on your listing.
Badge usage rules
- Only current, active AOPA member firms may display the badge. Remove it if your membership lapses.
- Always link the badge back to aopauk.com (or your AOPA firm profile) so membership can be verified.
- Do not alter the badge — keep its colours, proportions, text and clear space intact. Minimum width 180 px.
- The badge denotes membership only. Do not use it to imply AOPA endorses, certifies or is responsible for your services or advice.
- Individual members should use “AOPA Member”, not the firm badge, and must not present themselves as representing the Association.
- AOPA may ask you to stop using the mark at any time; misuse may result in removal from the directory.
